ruin run my life. When I’m not working, cleaning, cooking, dancing or doing school work (actually, even when I AM doing those things) I am obsessing over something or other.
The best place to see all my fandoms (and other rather inappropriate humor) would be my Tumblr: http://authoressviolist.tumblr.com/
I also have a Disney Tumblr, which is much cleaner than my main one. http://haveamagicaldayprincess.tumblr.com/
Despite how quickly I latch onto books, movies, TV shows, comics and even some games (though I am really not a gamer), I have several fandoms that hover above all the others in a state of perpetual adoration and undying devotion.
STAR WARS: Star Wars is pretty much the fandom that started it all. Due to my little sister getting our family back into the galaxy via Star Wars: The Clone Wars, my life was really forever changed. I met my best friends thanks to Star Wars. I am friends with a celebrity (Her Universe’s Ashley Eckstein!) thanks to Star Wars. I came out of my honestly pathetic shell and am who I am today because of Star Wars. I owe this movie series my life.
You think I’m kidding? How can a movie series do all that?? I own over 200 Star Wars books (and yes, I have read just about all of them.) I have played Star Wars video games (not well, but oh, have I played). I can play the music on my viola. I can recite The Empire Strikes Back by heart. I know the most obscure of trivia and I can write in Aurebesh (Star Wars language, for those who don’t know). I have dolls, action figures, collectors items, trading cards, signed merchandise, lightsabers, pins, clothes, bags, posters, badges, patches, jewelry…you get the idea. I have written full on novels about Star Wars, recorded podcasts, written blog posts, gone to Star Wars conventions, and started an entire fangirl movement. Nice, right?
So essentially, I’m about as big of a nerd as they come, but I mask it really well by pretending to be cool.
THE AVENGERS: This fandom followed Star Wars. After becoming solely dedicated to Star Wars for a good two years (where I lived a life full of self discovery and immaturity) my fangirl friends introduced me to Marvel. I was told I had to watch some of The Avengers films, especially Captain America. I fell hard, and I fell fast. Captain America started the fandoms for me. I watched that movie so much that I literally can recite it word for word, in foreign languages and with sound effects. Now I’ve not only seen all of the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies, but I have read so much fanfiction it’d blow your mind. I have branched out from just the MCU to the spin off series, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. which has effectively ruined my life, and I really highly recommend you don’t ask me about it, because I will cry. Don’t test me.
I also have recently started trying Comics too, and I have never loved any comic or character as much as the Hawkeye series by Matt Fraction and David Aja. It’s literally the best thing ever. I love it and I love Clint Barton.
DISNEY: Disney is a pretty broad fandom, but it is something that has shaped my life from the moment I was born. I went to Disney World for the first time when I was 7 months old and have gone back just about every single year (or multiple times a year) since. I know Disney trivia better than just about anyone else, I have seen all the Disney movies to date, and so much more. Someday I want to work at Disney World, and eventually I will get there. There’s not really much I love more than Disney World. ❤
(yes, I did take that picture)
Those are my main fandoms. Others include Doctor Who, Supernatural, Sherlock, Firefly, Warehouse 13, Star Trek, and let’s face it, a lot more.
